You've got your Google Docs resume template? It’s time to customize it with your personal information. Customize a Google Docs resume template to fit your needs.
We'll go over how to do this in five easy steps. I'll work with the premium Professional CV Resume Cover Letter Template.
Let's get started:
Changing fonts and font sizes is quite easy in Google Docs. In our template, each element is in a block. Click on one of the text blocks and choose the Edit option from the pop up menu.
From there, double click the text and choose your desired font and font size from the top menu header. Once you have made your selections, click theSave & Close button.
Does your CV Google Docs template has more than one page? You may want to add a footer with page numbers on it.
To do this, click Insert > Headers & Footers > Footer. From there a footer will appear at the bottom of your page. Clock on the Options tab on the far right of the footer and choose Page Numbers. This will set a footer with the appropriate page number on each page.
To add more images to your template or replace the default one, click the main header Insert > Image > Upload From Computer. Adjust the size of the image by dragging the corners of the image.
